Save the date for Green Triangle's second permaculture design certification course in Cleveland,Ohio, with a focus on social design within urban environments.

Created in the 1970's by Bill Mollison, the permaculture design certification (PDC) curriculum is now taught all over the world, offering students certification in the foundations of permaculture design, including:

- Principles of Natural Systems
- Sustainable Design Methods
- Site Assessment
- Techniques for Large Scale Land Restoration
- Techniques for Restoring Soil and Water Health and Using Energy Efficiently
- Design Principles for Sustainable Human Communities
- Natural Building Strategies
- Food Forests, Plant Guilds, and Gardening for Self-Sufficiency

As part of their certification, every student in this PDC will develop a design for existing permaculture projects based in Cleveland.

Logistics:
This course will be held over six weekends, between late August of 2012 and ending in early November, 2012. Scheduling, curriculum, venue and course fees will be available in Spring 2012.

PDC Scholarship Fund:
